Fun with cousins

Ashlyn had so much fun with her cousins. Her and Kyler played for hours.

They played for hours on Grandma's rocks. They said it was their "Clubhouse." You have to love kids and their imaginations!!

This picture is kind of funny because Ashlyn was dying to take a picture of Lyndee and I, hence the reason we look like we are falling over!! It was really great to see Doug, Lyndee and their family because we don't see them very often because they live in Indiana. We had a great weekend. Thanks for coming guys!!

Spencer's Homecoming

Mike's younger brother Spencer came home from his mission in the Dominican Republic on Thursday night. We all met them(his parents and brother Kasey) at the Las Vegas airport. Spencer looks the same as he did the day he left but it was really great to see how much he grew spiritually. Way to go Spence we are very proud of you!!

Oh, what to do with the cooler weather?!

You have to love Vegas this time of year! The weather has been so awesome. This is what we look forward to all year long, the cooler weather. Ashlyn is getting really good at riding her bike and now begs to go on bike rides. Mike was working on our car and I am getting "large and in charge," so Aunt Lindsay took her. Thanks Lindz!! I can't believe how fast they grow up and turn into "big" girls!!

Halloween Part 2

This year we decided to invite a few friends over for Halloween. We had dinner, a treasure hunt and Halloween bingo for the kids and then we all went trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. It was so much fun going as a group. Thank guys for making it so much fun. We'll have to do it again next year!!

Ash was dying to decorate the house and so this is what we came up with(I know kind of lame but she loved it). She kept saying, "Man my friends are going to be so so scared!" Thats just because she is literally scared of everything. BTW-we did have pumpkins this year but they didn't make it to Halloween.

Halloween 2008

We had a awesome Halloween this year. Ashlyn was so much fun and loved every minute of it. We had our Ward Trunk-or-Treat the Saturday before Halloween and than on Halloween Mike and I decided to have our own Halloween party and we invited some friends over. I will post pictures of that later. Hope everyone had a great Halloween!!

We're having a..........?

BOY! Yes it's really true, we are having a boy. Mike, Ash and I thought for sure it was a girl but I guess we were wrong. We are very excited and Ashlyn is just getting used to the idea of having a brother instead of a sister. We decided to take her with us to the Ultrasound thinking she would think it was really cool and I think she did, except when they said, "It's a boy!" She tried to be very brave but just couldn't control her sadness and she started to cry. She was upset for about 45mins. But really she is fine now and very excited to have a little brother, to teach him everything she knows!
