Wedding

My good friend Katie got married while we were there. She married a really awesome guy and I am so excited for them. It was fun because I got to see friends I haven't seen in a really long time. I only wish I had taken more pictures than I did. Congratulations Katie & Adam!!

Iris Patch

It is so beautiful there right now because of all the rain. Growing up I didn't realize how cool it was to see deer in your back yard everyday but now that I've been gone for about 10 years I really miss that.
We went to this place called the "Iris Patch." It was so beautiful. There was every color of Iris you could imagine. WoW!!

Bon Fire

We helped my parents do some yard work. Ash and her cousin Joseph had so much fun hammering nails into a piece of wood, I swear they did that for a good hour or so. After we were done with the yard work we had a huge bon fire. Once it burned down we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows. That always make yard work much more fun!!

Good times

Every time we visit Grandpa we have to ride Sassafras. Ashlyn has always loved Sassy which we find kind of funny because from the time she was little she has been afraid of dogs. Just in the past 6 months she has become more fond of dogs, as you can see she still likes her distance!!

Visiting Grandma & Grandpa

We went to California to visit my parents for 10 days. It was nice because Mike went with us the whole trip. We had tons of fun. Ashlyn was in heaven because she could just roam.

Right next to my parents house was this mommy horse and her colt. Grandma had been telling Ashlyn about it for a few weeks prior to us coming, so when she saw them she fell in love.

Then, the first night we were there, my brother came and told us that there was a baby deer across the street that the mother had left behind because she had had triplets. Fortunately, the baby that was abandoned was with the mother and two other babies the next day.
