Good ol' Dinosaur Park

My sister came for her Anniversary in March and we watched her kids overnight. We decided to take them to the Dinosaur park. We love Chandler and Malia and can't wait to have them visit and explore with us in California.

Chandler took this picture. He did really good but Quincy is at the age that he doesn't have time to take pictures. All he wanted to do was play in the water!!

She's getting big so fast! Kind of sad :(

Malia just turned 6 and is one of Ashlyn's best friends.

Chandler is 10 and is one of the nicest kids I know.

I took these pictures before we moved but I'm still playing the catch up game. Mike took Ashlyn to the driving range. They had a lot of fun and she did really good. He is such a good daddy and she loves to spend one on one time with him. Thanks Mike for being so AWESOME!!

Happy 1st Birthday Quincy

Well, I'm a little late but what can I say, things have been a little crazy around here. I can't believe it has been a year! Time really does fly when your having fun and we have really had fun this past year with Quincy! He is such a sweet and happy baby. We feel sooooo blessed to have him as part of our family and thank Heavenly Father everyday for sending him to us.

Trip to California

Here are a few pictures from our "house hunting" trip. We have yet to find anything but we are getting more excited to move and be closer to the beach. Ashlyn had the best time at the beach picking up sea shells and digging in the sand. Quincy thought the seagulls were awesome. He even liked the water but only until he was freezing.

If you haven't heard......!

Its official! We are moving. Yes, another Las Vegan bits the dust. We are moving to Southern California. Mike will be working in Anaheim so we are looking for somewhere in Orange County that is not to long of a commute. We are very sad to leave so many great friends but know change is necessary(and a job of course) and looks forward to many of you visiting us in Sunny California!
Also, I've wanted to post a few pictures of Quincy for a while now. He is now 10 1/2 months old and I haven't been very good to post pictures of him. Things have been crazy around our house for the past two months and I have yet to post a picture of him in his helmet. He got it the week of Thanksgiving and will wear it for about 2 more weeks. I was really worried about getting it but it has been awesome! Mike and I were just saying the other day that every kid this age should wear a helmet cause we have yet to have stitches(which with Q's energy is very lucky) or really bad falls! He will fall and Ashlyn will say, "he ok mom, he has a helmet!" The real purpose for the helmet is to help correct a flat spot on the back of his head. It applies pressure to the spots on the head that aren't flat and allows the flat spot to catch up. It doesn't hurt him and actually is pretty lose. We are very impressed with the results and would recommend it to anyone considering one.

Like Father Like Son!

We are so in love with this big blue eyed baby boy! He has been so much fun to have around. Ashlyn adores him, dad is so proud of him and mommy is in love with him!

Now almost 7 month old and I don't know where the time has gone.

Everybody tells me Mike and Quincy look a lot a like and most of the time it's hard for me to really see but I definitely see it in these pictures(it could be the hat!).
