Hiking to Taylor Lake
Last minute I decide to fly to my parents house with Ashlyn and visit for 10 days. We had a lot of fun hanging out, working in the yard/house and playing. Ashlyn just loves it there because she has total freedom there. They live in the country and she loves going from my parents house to Grandma T's house(my grandparents house which live just down the road).
On Saturday we went hiking to Taylor Lake. Ash loved it because Jordan and Jarom let her fish with them. It was just beautiful there!!

Halloween came early!!
This is a picture of my dad wearing a mask that Ashlyn has been scared of for a couple of years. She wasn't as scared and even laughed about it this time.
Ok, now this picture just makes me laugh. Where my parents live it gets really cold at night but was still in the high 80's and low 90's. And because it gets so cold at night my moms pool on the top was only 68 degrees and Ashlyn was determined to swim even if it was freezing. So my mom and I decided to let her just try it out and surely would she really get in? So she stood on the ladder for 10 or 15 mins and kept saying, "WOW it's cold!" Next thing I know is she is standing on the deck saying, "I think I'm going to just jump in." She counts to 3 and jumps in and swims straight to the ladder and looks shocked. My mom and I laugh and could not believe our little dare devil!!

Visitng Grandpa & Grandma
We went to "town" and had some ice cream at a place called the Drug Store which is the store me and my sisters would ride our bikes to and buy Ice cream. Ash got the bubblegum ice cream which was always my favorite.
My brother Jordan, Mom and Ashlyn
My Uncle Roger has a lot of horses and was nice enough to saddle Reva and let Ash go for a ride. Little did I know that, Ash is my little "Cowgirl." I don't know where she got that because I grew up riding horses and never really liked it.
Jordan was so good with Ash. She didn't want to watch a movie by herself so he went in with her. Thanks Uncle Jordan for playing and taking care of Ash, we'll miss you!!

So if you haven't heard......
I'm pregnant!! Yes it is true. We are having a baby and we are very excited. I'm about 14 weeks pregnant and due around the middle of March. Ashlyn is so excited and just started to understand that I have a baby in my belly. I have an ultrasound picture but don't have any way to scan it, so hopefully soon!!
Love having family Visit

Last weekend my sister Adriel and her family came to visit. They actually came for a baptism on her husbands side but they stayed with us. We always love having visitors and we just love their kids. Ash was so sad to see them leave but had so much fun playing dress-up with Emma, drawing with Maddy and watching Star Wars and playing light sabers with Spencer. Thanks so much for coming to visit. We love you guys and can't wait to see you soon!!(As you can see I didn't take pictures so I guess just use your imagination, SORRY!)

First day of preschool 2008
I can't believe how time flies. Ashlyn has officially started preschool and loves it. Mom is loving it also!! Last year we did our own preschool with 5 other kids and rotated every week but I have to say this year it feels real and I've realized that she is getting big so fast, kind of sad!!

Happy 25th Laurel!!

My sister Laurel came down to visit and we celebrated her 25Th birthday. She is such an awesome person. She is probably the most generous, thoughtful and kind person I know. She is one of the best moms in the world and somehow manages to do most of it on her own. I am so thankful that god made her my SISTER!!
I love you Laurel!

Girls Camp
All the girls
Patricia & Trace(leaders)
Me & Patricia
(This is a picture of all the hail)
(Practicing for skit)
This was my first time going to Girls Camp as a leader and I had so much fun. The first day I got there it rained and pour for about 6 hrs straight and even hailed for a good hour. Despite the rain and hail we still had a blast, we even managed to fit in the same tent and play games. We even got really good at flinging roasted marshmallows. I just love our small but awesome group of girls, THEY ARE THE BEST!!
