First rain than snow!

Well, two years and I have never seen it snow like it did last week. It was so much fun to get snow and know it would probably not stay all winter long. Although the next morning Ashlyn was kind of disappointed that there wasn't much left to play in. It was kind of funny, my mom calls and says, "so guess what you guys made the National news with all the snow you guys got!" I just had to laugh because we got maybe 2 or 3 inches and we made the national news. You gotta love Vegas!!

Rain in Vegas

We have lived in Vegas for 2 1/2 years now and I have never seen rain like we had on the day before Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving day. It was the best rain storm I have ever seen here and we were in heaven!! So here are some pictures I took of Ashlyn loving every minute of it!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving. We sure enjoyed our Thanksgiving and of course ate lots and lots of food. This year was our first time having Thanksgiving with just the three of us and we had a great time. Mike and I both love spending the holiday's with family but have to admit we really liked doing things our own way and starting our own traditions(no offense to our family).




Ash and I even baked pies. She was so cute and wanted to help, so I decided to let her make a pie. I just happened to have a can of cherries and a small pie tin(she loves anything that is small like a baby, she says, "it's so cute and little!").



I forgot to take a picture of the finished product but it turned out really good.
She was so proud of her "Cherry Pie!"
